Mysuru: Karatekas from city’s Goju Ryu Karate Do Institute have won medals in the recently held 7th Asian Goju Ryu-level Karate Tournament at Sri Lanka.

S. Nagendra won bronze in kumite while C.M. Tanmay won silver in kumite and bronze in kata; K. Chethan Gowda won gold in kumite and silver in kata; S. Bhaskar won bronze in kumite.

Nagendra also cleared the Goju Ryu Referee examination and is now eligible to officiate in the Asian-level.

Goju Ryu Institute Head Sensai R. Mahesh and Institute teachers have congratulated the medal winners and the Referee.
