City Karatekas excel in Nationals

Karatekas of Prajwal Karate Dojo (PKD), practicing IMSKA Karate under Kyoshi N.G. Sivdas, excelled in the Zen Open Nationals in Malavalli of Mandya district on July 31. Seen in the picture are (from left) Hayagreev – bronze in kata,  Manoj – bronze in kata, Karthikeyan – gold in kata and silver in kumite, Aganya – silver in kata, Sensei Prajwal (Chief Instructor, PKD), Kanishka – gold in kata and silver in kumite, Salma – gold in kata and silver in kumite, Manya – gold in kata and silver in kumite, Bhavan – bronze in kata and Isa (not in picture) – silver in kata and kumite. The Championship was organised by Zen Martial Arts, Malavalli, sanctioned by Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association. Karatekas from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karatekas from many districts of Karnataka took part in the Championship.
