City lads Harsha, Deekshit Dev shine for Karnataka

City’s paddlers S.Harsha of Byraveshwara Vidya Samasthe, Hebbal  and M. Deekshit Dev of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, representing Karnataka U-14 school boys Table Tennis team in the 63rd National School Games TT championships 2017-18, held at Vadodara, Gujarat from Jan. 3-7, won the silver medal in the team event for boys.

Karnataka beat Rajasthan 3-0 in the quarter-finals, beat Uttar Pradesh 3-0 in the semi-finals and in the final, Delhi beat Karnataka 3-1. Harsha and Deekshit Dev were part of the Karnataka team which bagged the silver medal. The boys are coached by Table Tennis coach Rajashekar in Mysuru.
