Mysuru: City photographer M.S. Basavanna (Anurag Basavaraj) has bagged 7 gold medals in various categories at the international photography exhibition organised by Photographic Society of America in association Sam Circuit Organisation  recently.

Basavanna has bagged a total of 9 medals and two merit certificates in Wildlife and Photo Journalism categories.

In the recently held competitions at West Bengal, Rajasthan and Kolkata, he has won four gold medals (Photographic Society of America), two gold medals (Wildlife Photographers Association of India) and a gold, silver and bronze medal (HAP International Saloon Organisation).

Photographers from more than 30 countries including UK, Singapore, China, America, Germany, Italy, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan and Qatar  participated in the expo.

Basavanna’s photos of ‘Leopard Attack’, ‘Bulls jumping over Fire’ and ‘Small Blue Kingfisher with its Hunt’ have bagged the medals.
