City Master Swimmers excel

Three master swimmers from city, representing Mysore District Swimming Association (MDSA) in the recently concluded XXI State Masters Aquatic Championship-2019 organised by Karnataka Swimming Association at Corporation Swimming Pool (Vijayanagar Aquatic Centre) in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru, have won the following medals:

Sundaram Basappa (Owner of Sri Manjunatha Dish View, Vivekanandanagar) – Three Gold and three Silver medals (Gold in 50 mts breaststroke, 4×50 medley relay, 4×50 mts FS relay and Silver in 50 mts backstroke, 100 mts backstroke and 50 mts freestyle.

R. Nagesh (Triton Valves) – One Gold, two Silver and one Bronze medal (Gold in 4×50 mts FS relay, Silver in 200 mts freestyle and 4×50 mts medley relay and Bronze in 400 mts freestyle.

Suneel (Triveni Engineering and Industries) – One Gold and one Silver medal (Gold in 4×50 mts FS relay and Silver in 4×50 medley relay).
