City Police Annual Sports Meet begins

The three-day Police meet organised by Mysuru City Police was inaugurated by Infosys Senior Vice President Shaji Mathew at CAR Grounds located on the foot of Chamundi Hill, here yesterday.

Prior to the sport meet, the participated took part in the march past. City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao administered the oath the athletes.

DCPs N. Vishnuvardhana, Dr. Vikaram V. Amathe and Basavaraj Kittur and others were present. The Police personnel took part in event such as 100 mts sprint, tug-of-war and others. Police personnel from CAR, Narasimharaja, Devaraja and Krishnaraja sub-divisions, Mahila Police, City Traffic Police and Special Unit are taking part in the event.
