City schools celebrate Annual Day: Rotary Midtown Academy

The School Day of Rotary Midtown Academy was held at the School premises recently.

SP Ravi D. Channananavar  was the chief guest. In his address, he was all praise for Rotary Midtown for starting an Educational Institution in the rural belt to impart quality education at affordable cost, so that the discrimination at different levels for a deserving child is taken care.

During his course of address, he also emphasised to  be a human first and be concerned to all so that the society is at peace.

Through his experience, the advice to the parents was to teach moral education at home and avoid social medial for some 20 years, so that the remaining years of that child is comfortable and wonderful.

With the example of Infosys Chairman  Narayana Murthy, he also stressed upon to teach history, so that the children can create the history of their own.

Unless a child studies history well, its impossible to create the history of his own. He also gave the call to today’s youth not to fall prey into bad habits and bad company and become great citizen of our nation.

He also honoured last year topper of the School Snehashree by cash award and gold medal.

Rtn. Alagappan, Chairman of the School, welcomed the gathering. Rtn. Ramakrishna, Secretary of  RMA, proposed a vote of thanks. Cultural programme by the children of the  School followed.
