Selection trials for Asian Games-2022 today and tomorrow

City skaters, who participated in the 59th National Speed Roller Skating Championship held at New Delhi between Dec. 11 and 20 have won 10 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The medal winners are: Pratheeksha (3 gold, 1 silver in 11 to 14 years juniors category); Omkar Yograj (1 gold in above 17 years senior men); Rea Elizabeth Achaiah (3 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze  in  above 17 years senior woman); Ekalavya awardee Dr. Varsha S. Puranik (3 gold and 1 silver).

All the medallists will be participating in the Asian Games-2022 selection trials for the Indian team today and tomorrow (Dec. 23 and 24), said their Coach K. Srikantha Rao of Rao’s Roller Skating Academy, Mysuru.
