The University of Mysore (UoM), in association with Hampi Kannada University, Sahitya Academy, New Delhi and National Institute of Prakrit Studies and Research, will be hosting a two-day International Prakrita Samavesh-2019, at Senate Bhavan in Manasagangothri on Dec.12 and 13. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will inaugurate the event in the divine presence of Sri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji at 3 pm on Dec.12. UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will preside. Hampi Kannada University Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.C. Ramesh will release five books on the occasion. As part of the Samavesh, seminar sessions will take place at the Department of Jainology and Prakrit in Manasagangothri campus on Dec.12 afternoon and on Dec.13. The valedictory will be held in the divine presence of Sri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji at 5 pm on Dec.13.
