Mysore/Mysuru: City Police Commissioner B. Ramesh and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj are among other IPS Officers in the State, who have been promoted.

City Top Cop Ramesh has been promoted to officiate in the grade of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) with effect from Jan. 1, 2023 and continued as the City Commissioner of Police, Mysuru City in the downgraded post.

DCP (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj has been promoted to officiate in the Junior Administrative Grade with effect from Jan. 1, 2023 and is continued in the same post until further orders, according to the order signed by Nagappa S. Pareet, Under Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms  (Services – 4) dated 31.12.2022.
