City’s CET State topper Meghan bags fifth rank in NEET

Shares rank with Mangaluru boy

Mysore/Mysuru: City’s H.K. Meghan, who had created a record by securing the top rank in all streams of Karnataka CET has bagged the fifth rank in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2021, whose results were announced on Monday evening.

Meghan from Pramati Hill View Academy, who has scored 715 out of 720 marks in NEET, shares his rank with Jashan Chhabra from Mangaluru, who too has scored 715 marks out of 720.

Thanking his mother Leelavathi, Principal of Nrupathunga Kannada Medium PU College in city and father Krishnaiah, Principal of K.R. Nagar Government PU College for his success, Meghan said that he wanted to pursue medicine at AIIMS.

Stating that he wants to pursue his higher education in the field of Oncology, Meghan said that he had worked very hard to reach the goal.
