City’s D. Irene has bagged first place in the Fourth State-Level Arm Wrestling Tournament organised as part of Dasara festivities by the Karnataka State Arm Wrestling Association at D. Devaraja Urs Multipurpose Stadium in city.

Irene bagged first place in the 55 kg category and has brought laurels to city.

She has won in District, State and National Level arm Wrestling Tournaments and has bagged fourth place in 54 kg category at the National-level Tournament held at Lucknow recently.

Irene, a first year B.Com student of Maharani’s Degree College in city, is the daughter of Devasagayam and Maculamary, residents of Gandhinagar here.
