Mysuru lad and Karnataka’s No.1 men’s player Suraj R. Prabodh taking part in the Rs. 5 lakh AITA Men’s Tennis Tournament at Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, entered the semi-finals in the men’s singles event on yesterday. Suraj in the quarter-finals beat Ritwik Anand 6-1, 6-3. In the earlier round, Suraj beat C. Jaydeep 6-2, 6-3 and in the first round beat Sai Ghanta Karthick 6-7 (5), 6-0, 4-0 (retd).
