Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust will be organising a vocal concert by Vidu. Prajna Adiga at 6 pm on Tuesday (Jan. 28) at Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple, SBM Colony, Srirampura.

Instrumental support will be provided by Vid. Rupanagudi Ratna Teja on violin, Vid. A. Radhesh on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata. 

Profile: Vidu. Prajna Adiga was initiated into music by Vidu. Varijakshi R. Bhat at an early age and for the past 8 years she is under the tutelage of Vidu. Jayanthi Kumaresan. She has exhibited her skills in vocal music and has won several awards, such as ‘Best Junior Vocalist’ in 2016 and ‘Best Senior Vocalist’ in 2024 and ‘M.S. Subbulakshmi Fellowship’ from Shanmukhananda Sabha, Mumbai, ‘S. Rajam Centenary Music Award’ from Madras Music Academy, Finalist of ‘Mudra Bhaskar Kuchery’ Competition.
