MUDA warns site owners

Mysuru: – MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaj has asked the owners of vacant sites to clear the weeds and garbage immediately failing which legal action would be initiated on such owners with imposition of fine.

As Mysuru has bagged the Cleanest City tag twice, Kantharaj says that every citizen should take the responsibility of keeping the city clean. He further says that MUDA has been receiving complaints that weeds and garbage on vacant sites was breeding mosquitoes leaving the health of residents nearby in peril. He has asked the vacant site owners to get it cleaned within three days or face the consequences.

Kantharaj has extended the order to owners of Civic Amenities (CA) sites also and the respective organisations owning such CA sites should get the vacant sites cleaned or face action.
