Clinical Pharmacy Training Programme’s Academic Visit

Mysore/Mysuru:  An academic visit as part of the Clinical Pharmacy Training Programme for B. Pharm students, jointly organised by JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru and The National University of Science & Technology, Muscat, Oman, was held in city recently.

The programme is being held from Sept. 8 to Oct. 3, to provide students with hands-on training in India.

The visit was led by Amanulla Khan, proprietor of Victory Pharma and Secretary of  Mysore Chemists and Druggists Welfare Association.

The academic delegation included M.S. Srikanth, Assistant Professor at JSS College of Pharmacy, along with Dr. Mohammed Daiyaan Khan and Dr. Ravindra P. Choudhary, Ph.D Scholars, Department of Pharmacy Practice.

The interaction focused on linking academics with practice through patient counselling, pharmacist-led services and community initiatives. The students keenly observed dispensing practices and gaining real-world insights into pharmacy care.
