CM asks officials not to use mobile phones in meetings

Bengaluru:  As mobile phones were distracting at official meetings, the Chief Minister  on Friday has issued instructions to officials participating in meetings to refrain from using mobile phones.

The direction comes as it is often seen that use of mobile phones undermines the seriousness of the topic under discussion. As per a circular issued in this regard, officials should surrender their mobile phones before meetings and pick up after the meeting ends.
