CM aspirant D.K. Shivakumar wishes Siddu ‘All The Best’

I will not launch a rebellion or succumb to any blackmailing tactics, says DKS

Mysuru/New Delhi: As the race for Karnataka Chief Minister intensifies, with neither of the two strong aspirants — former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah and KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar (DKS) — refusing to relent, the latter has wished the former, catching man by surprise in the political circle.

Shivakumar, who spoke to eagerly waiting media persons at his Sadashivanagar residence last night said that “Siddharamaiah has got the numbers (support of MLAs) and I wish him all the best. I will not launch a rebellion or indulge in blackmail tactics. Nor am I an immature man. I have a far-sighted vision. I will not fall prey to any conspiracy, but will remain loyal to the party.”

“I am not even aware about what’s happening in Delhi. I was scheduled to go to Delhi (on Monday evening), but had to stay back due to health issues. I have taken rest for four hours and will leave to Delhi tomorrow (May 16). Sonia Gandhi has to return from Shimla and my first programme is to meet her and explain all the matter,” DKS told media persons on Monday night.
