CM to present MDJA Awards

Mysuru:  Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy  will present the Annual Awards for Journalists and Photographers at a function organised by Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) at Rajendra Kalamandira in Agrahara on July 20 at 10.30 am as part of Kannada Press Day (July 1).

The following scribes have been selected for the MDJA Annual Awards:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Rajkumar Bhavasar (Mysooru Mithra, Sr. Reporter); Reporter of the Year: Harish Talakadu (Vijaya Karnataka); Photographer of the Year: Udayashankar (The  New Indian Express); Sub-Editor of the Year: Doddanahundi Rajanna (Vijayavani); Rural Journalist of the Year: Hanagodu Nataraj (Vijaya Karnataka); Rural Photographer of the Year: Kannada Pramod (H.D. Kote); Senior TV Reporter of the Year: Rangaswamy (Siri News Channel)  and Cameraman of the Year: Nithin Rao (Cameraman, Public TV), according to a press release.
