CM to release 66 Kannada books in B’luru tomorrow

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will release 66 Kannada books brought out by Sapna Book House, Bengaluru, as part of 66th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan in Bengaluru, tomorrow (Nov. 27) at 10.30 am. Senior litterateur Nadoja Dr. Kamala Hampana will preside. Kannada and Culture Minister V. Sunil Kumar will be the chief guest. Senior litterateur Dr. H.S. Venkatesha Murthy will speak on the topic ‘Nadu-Nudiya Drushtiyalli Pustakagalu’ while noted critic Dr. C.N. Ramachandran on ‘Kruthi Vistara’ and Chief Editor of Kannada Prabha Ravi Hegde on ‘Samakalina Pustaka Samskruthi.’

There will be light music programme by Dr. Kikkeri Krishnamurthy and team at 10 am and ‘Hasyollasa’ by M.S. Narasimha Murthy, Y.V. Gundu Rao and H. Dundi Raj at 12.30 pm, according to a press release.
