CM on two-day visit to city from today

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will arrive in city this afternoon on a two-day visit of the district.

The CM, who is scheduled to land at Mysore Airport in Mandakalli at 2.20 pm, will take part in the Okuli Mahotsava of Moodalabasaveshwara Temple at D. Salundi village in Jayapura hobli of the taluk at 3 pm. He will later take part in the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Deepa Educational Institutions at Roopa Nagar in city at 5 pm, following which he will attend a wedding reception to take place at Sa.Ra. Convention Hall at 8 pm.

After overnight stay in city, Siddharamaiah will attend the wedding ceremony at Sa.Ra. Convention Hall at 9.30 am tomorrow (Jan.24), following which he will leave for Rammanahalli in the taluk, where he will launch a slew of development works at 10 am.

The CM will there after take part in the ceremony to launch developmental works at Bharathnagar in the taluk at 10.30 am, following which he will inaugurate the newly-constructed Government Maharani’s College of Commerce and Management for Women and hostel building at Paduvarahalli (Vinayakanagar) in city at 11 am.

There after, he will travel to Lingadevarakoppal on Hunsur Road coming under Chamundeshwari Assembly segment at 2.30 pm and launch a slew of developmental works, following which Siddharamaiah will fly back to Bengaluru by a special flight at 6.30 pm.
