Co-op Societies: Objections invited

As the KARP Mounted Company Employees Co-operative Society, Mysuru, Cauvery Grameena Bank Employees Housing Co-operative Society, Mysuru and Ashraya House Building Co-operative Society, Mysuru, have ceased functioning, the Co-operation Department has decided to liquidate these societies, as per the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959. Proceeding with the liquidation, the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies has invited objections, if any, from the society members, who are willing to revive their societies, in writing or in person within 15 days. If no objections are received within the deadline, then the department will proceed further with the liquidation, according to a press release.
