Mysuru:  “Co-operative sector is an effective mechanism to engage young people as it provides a lot of opportunity for youths,” opined District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev.

He was speaking after distributing prizes to winners of debate and essay writing contests organised by State Co-operative Federation in association with Pramati Hill View Academy and Department of Co-operation at District Co-operative Union Auditorium on Chamaraja Double Road in city recently.

“Compared to other countries of the world, India stands apart in terms of its agriculture and related fields. In Europe, milk production and related disciplines are considered as Dairy Industry, but in India, it is a sub-sector of agriculture. Co-operative sector is the future for this country and it promises a lot of job opportunities for youths,” he added.
