Karnataka helped by some excellent bowling by spinner Shubhang Hegde (three for 69) and B.N. Bharath (three for 29), registered a facile nine-wicket win over Baroda in their Col. C.K. Nayudu U-23 tie on the second-day of their four-day tie played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here yesterday.

Baroda 85 in 39.1 overs & 176 in 51 overs (Dhurv Patel 78, M.T. Sheikh 45, Shubhang Hegde three for 69, K.N. Bharath three for 29) lost to Karnataka 197 in 62.2 overs (D. Nischal 46, B.R. Sharath 41, Abhinav Manohar 39, G.S. Maan four for 48) & 66 for one in 13.2 overs ( Abhishek Reddy 40 n.o.).
