Collapsed drainage at Hinkal crying for repair since a year !

June 16, 2018

Sir,

At the entrance of Hinkal from city on Hunsur Road, next to Government School, the drainage which collapsed one year back is waiting for repair since then. Repeated written requests to Hinkal Gram Panchayat have yielded no result.

This drainage is acting as a breeding place for mosquitoes with foul smell in the air. About 150-plus students studying in the nearby school are at the risk of afflicting dengue.

Also the tree adjacent to this drainage may get uprooted any time and block the vehicular traffic on the busy Hunsur Road. Water pipes passing along the drainage may also get damaged. Hence, I request the authorities concerned to look into this and act immediately.
