College education for SSLC passed poor boys

Entrance exam in city on July 25

Mysore/Mysuru: The Ojas Public Charitable Trust, Mysuru, is providing College education to SSLC passed poor and intelligent male students of rural base, in Karnataka, since 2016. The students may be from any districts in Karnataka. The 5th batch students are studying in this educational project of the Trust.

Ojas aims at providing education till the students wish to study. However, the Trust encourages thus graduated students to take up Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exams by providing free boarding and lodging and educational facilities at Pejawara Hostel in JP Nagar, Mysuru.

Students aspiring to take up Engineering and Medical courses are not eligible to take up the entrance exam conducted by Ojas.

Interested students, who wish to take up IAS in future and who are writing SSLC examination of July 2021, can participate in the entrance exam to be held on Sunday (July 25) at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara PU College, Nanjumalige, Lakshmi puram, from 10 am. 

The examination will be for 200 marks of which 170 marks of objective questions and 30 marks of descriptive answers. The questions are from the subjects the students have studied for their SSLC exam along with General Knowledge (GK). The questions will be both in Kannada and English mediums.

Students should bring their hall ticket of 2021 SSLC examination and copy of Aadhaar Card along with recent passport size photograph while attending the entrance examination.
