College education for SSLC passed poor rural boys: Entrance exam on July 25

Mysore/Mysuru: The Ojas Public Charitable Trust, Mysuru, is providing college education to the SSLC passed poor and intelligent male students of rural base since 2016. The students may belong to South Karnataka districts like Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Hassan, Ramanagar, Tumakuru, Kolar and Bengaluru Rural.

There are about 45 students studying in the educational project of the Trust. Ojas has the objective of creating a responsible Nationalist Youth by providing them three types of education — Academic,  Competitive exam courses and Value-based education. 

Ojas aims at providing education till the student wishes and  graduates to take up Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exams by providing free boarding and lodging facilities at Pejawara Hostel in JP Nagar, Mysuru.

Students aspiring to take up Engineering and Medical courses are not eligible to take up the entrance exam conducted by Ojas.

Those interested to take up IAS in future and writing SSLC examination of July 2021, can appear for the entrance exam to be held on July 25 (Sunday) at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara PU College, Nanjumalige, Lakshmipuram, Mysuru, from 10 am. 

The examination will be for 200 marks of which 170 marks of objective questions and 30 marks of descriptive answers. The questions (both in Kannada and English) are from the subjects the students have studied for their SSLC exam along with General Knowledge.
