Mysuru: “Failure must be taken as the first step towards success and one only has to look up to leaders like Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Abraham Lincoln and others,” said DAV Public School and SVM PU College Chairman Sachiddananda Moorthy.

He was speaking during the Student Council inauguration and the release of first issue of Voice of Hindustan – a monthly Newsletter of Hindustan First Grade College (HFGC), at its premises here recently and stressed on the importance of time management. 

Venkatesh Kumar, Managing Director of Indian TV, was the chief guest. Mohammed Shakeel of III B.Com (President),  C. Pooja of III BCA (Vice President), Vishnu Priya of II B.Com (General Secretary), Pruthvik of I B.Com (Joint Secretary), Nagarjun of II BCA (Sports Secretary) and B. Chandrashekhar of III B.Com (Cultural Secretary) were elected as Student Council members for the academic year 2019-20. 

The badging ceremony was followed by the oath taking ceremony by the newly-elected members. Dr. C.J. Priya, Principal, Abel Mathew Prasad, Special Officer and  R. Dhanlakshmi, Student Welfare Coordinator, were present, according to HFGC Principal Dr. Priya in a press release.
