COMED-K exam held at five centres in city

Mysuru: The Undergraduate Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering courses (UGET-2017) conducted by COMED-K (Consortium of Medial, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) was held at over 153 centres across the country today.

The exam took place at 5 centres in the city — ATME, Vidyavardhaka Engineering College, JSS Polytechnic for Women, NIE-IT and IDZ, Hebbal.

A total of 1,479 students out of the 1,635 who had registered at the city centres, appeared for the exam, according to sources.

The computerised exam, which was conducted for admission to over 150 private Engineering Colleges in the State, was held between 10 am and 1 pm.
