Community Health Officers to launch indefinite stir at Bengaluru

Mysore/Mysuru: Contract Community Health Officers, under the banner of Akhila Karnataka State Community Health Employees Association, will launch an indefinite stir at Freedom Park in Bengaluru from Feb.15, seeking fulfilment of their 11-point charter of demands.

The demands include regularisation of service of all Community Health Officers who have completed 6 years of service as per CPHC-UHC guidelines, a 15 percent hike in wages, release of 5 percent withheld annual wages and 10 percent loyalty bonus, Health Insurance and PF coverage to all family members of Community Health Officers and introduction of inter-district transfers, among others.
