Company seal on water can caps mandatory

Mysuru: The District Food Quality Control authorities have ordered mandatory seal of companies on caps of packaged water cans.

The cans must be supplied to the markets only after the caps are firmly sealed with company names. Also, the sale of unsealed water can is banned in the city and district.

The packaged drinking water can distributors are asked to register with FSSAI along with necessary documents, according to a press release from FSSAI officials Dr. S. Chidambara and Dr. Kusuma.
