Competitions to mark Kuvempu birth anniversary

The Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, in association with Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) will be celebrating Kuvempu birth anniversary at Vishwamanava Park in front of Gun House in the heart of the city on Dec. 29. As part of the Jayanti, the Parishat will be organising various contests for students (both boys & girls) and members of the public, which include poetry, essay writing on Kuvempu, drawing scenes of nature as seen by Kuvempu and painting his portrait.
