Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. Mysore N. Srinath will present a vocal recital at Sri Nadabrahma Sageetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on Apr. 8 at 6 pm as part of T.V. Alamelu Birthday Remembrance Concert sponsored by Dr. Meera Nathan. He will be accompanied by Vidu. Veena Suresh on violin, Vid. Sai Shiva Lakshmi Keshava on mridanga and R. Srinidhi Koundinya on ghata.

Profile: Academically, Mysore Srinath is a Praveena in Sanskrit, Aagama and Vidwat in Music with a Degree in Music from Madras University. His first music guru is Vidu. K.G. Kanakalakshmi. Further he got tips and improvisation from Dr. S. Ramanathan, R.K. Narayanaswamy and R.N. Thyagarajan. Presently he is under Dr. R.N. Tharanathan. He has won number of awards from various Sabhas. He is in regular concert circles in India and USA. He is a teacher at Pramati Hillview School in Mysuru.
