Concerts in memory of violin legends Piteelu Chowdiah and Parur MSG

Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha has organised following concerts at its premises on JLB Road in city:

Jan. 19 at 6 pm: Piteelu Chowdiah Day Endowment by Piteelu Chowdiah Samsmarana Vedike Convener Mayura & Vid. Chandan Kumar.

Conferring of title ‘Dhanur Vainika Brahma’ on Dr. L. Subramaniam in memory of Piteelu Chowdiah by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar. It will be followed by a Violin Concert by Dr. L. Subramaniam accompanied by Vid. DSR Murthy on mridanga and Vid. Sai Charan on morching.

Jan. 24 at 6 pm: Paruru Parampare, an endowment in Memory of Parur Somasundaram, Ananta Raman and Parur MSG, sponsored by Vid. H.K. Narasimha Murthy.

Veena Concert will be presented by Vid. Ramana Balachandran accompanied by Vid. Patri Satish Kumar on mridanga and Vid. G. Guruprasanna on kanjira.
