‘Congress backing communal forces’

April 21, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: The State is witnessing drastic increase in the crime rate as the communal forces have the backing of Congress led State Government, said BJP State Spokesperson M.G. Mahesh, here yesterday.

Addressing the press persons at the BJP City office in Chamaraja Mohalla, Mahesh said the incidents of crime had increased in the State ever since the Congress had come to power and the Government has no control over the Law and Order situation.

“Communal forces, working as a part of Congress Party’s Tool Kit, have been targeting the Hindu community which is evident in the Neha murder case. The Congress Government has never been able to control the anti-social elements,” he alleged.

Citing the example of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s approach towards anti-social elements, Mahesh said while the UP Government has taken a bulldozer approach to curb the crime rates, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Dy.CM D.K. Shivakumar have a soft corner towards communal forces which has led to the increase in crime rate in the State.

BJP City Spokesperson M. Mohan, Media Convenor Mahesh Raje Urs were present at the media briefing.
