Construction worker succumbs to injuries at hospital

Mysuru/Mysore:  A construction worker, who had fallen down from a under-construction building, opposite Sterling Theatre on Saturday, has succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Monday.

The deceased is identified as Venkatesh (28) and he had informed that he was from Hosahalli in Channapattana taluk, while being admitted to the hospital which proved wrong when enquired.

Venkatesh, on Feb. 8, was working at the under-construction building when he fell down and was admitted to K.R. Hospital where he breathed his last on Feb.10.

As the address given by Venkatesh was wrong, Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, have asked the kith and kin of Venkatesh, if any, to contact Vidyaranyapuram Police Station on Ph: 0821-2418322 or Police Control Room on Ph: 0821-2418339, according to Inspector Manjunath, Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, Mysuru.
