Cooch Behar Trophy U-19 Tourney: Karnataka trail by 36-runs against Gujarat

Some inspiring batting by skipper Shubhang Hegde (81 n.o.), opener Rohan Nayakar 76 and R. Smaran (44) helped Karnataka to score 320 for six in 126 overs in reply to Gujarat’s 356, at close on the third-day of the four-day Cooch Behar Trophy U-19 Round VII Elite Group A & B tie at Valsad, Gujarat, yesterday.

Mysuru Zone’s cricketer from Mandya, wicket-keeper batsman Kruthik Krishna scored 29 runs and added 73-runs for the sixth wicket for Karnataka. At close, skipper Shubhang Hegde (81 n.o.) and Mysuru lad M. Venkatesh (9 n.o.) were at the crease.
