Left-arm spinner M. Kiran Sagar (4/34), well-supported by medium-pacer Mohit Shibu (2/25), helped Kerala to take control of the proceedings and hold the upper-hand in the four-day Cooch Behar U-19 Trophy 2019-20 match played against hosts Karnataka, who being set 273-runs to win, were struggling at 109/6 in 47.1 overs in their second essay on the third day at the SDNR Wadiyar Platinum Jubilee University Grounds here yesterday.

Kerala: 194 in 77.1 overs & 199 in 98 overs (Nikhil Jose 54, K. Aditya Krishnan 42, Ananthakrishnan 38, Taha Khan 6/52) Vs Karnataka: 121 in 49.5 overs & 109/6 in 47.1 overs (Lochan Gowda 54, Kiran Sagar 4/34).
