Cook caught burgling former owner’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: A cook was caught red handed while burgling his former owner’s house at Saraswathipuram in the wee hours of yesterday. 

The accused is 28-year-old Manju of Nanjangud. Manju, at about 2.30 am, gained entry into the house of Devnanand, his owner, by removing the roof tiles of the house and started searching for valuables in the almirah, when he was caught.

In his complaint to Saraswathipuram Police, Devanand has stated that his house had been burgled twice earlier. Saraswathipuram Police are investigating.
