Cops rescue Belagavi woman

Mysore/Mysuru: A 35 to 40-year-old woman from Belagavi, who had reportedly left home after having a tiff with her family members, was rescued at KSRTC Sub-urban Bus Stand in the city this morning. The woman, who came in an early morning bus from Belagavi at around 4 am, was found lonely at the waiting arena of platform 3. The Policemen of Lashkar Police Outpost at the bus stand, who keenly watched her for sometime, later enquired her, only to hear her ordeal.

The Police later took her to the outpost and informed their counterparts in Belagavi, before taking her to a rescue centre in the city. The woman will be under care, till her relatives come and take her home, after fulfilling the due procedures.
