Corporator Nataraju resigns

February 8, 2018

Mysuru:  In a sudden development, MCC Ward No. 57 Corporator B.M. Nataraju tendered his resignation this morning.

Having won from JD(S) ticket, Nataraju was an aspirant for the Mayor’s post in 2015-16 which was reserved for Backward Class candidate, but the post was given to B.L. Bhyrappa, who had won on a KJP ticket. This had forced Nataraju to distance himself from JD(S) and had tendered his resignation to the primary membership of JD(S).

Nataraju, speaking to SOM confirmed that he has submitted his resignation to Mayor Bhagyavathi this morning as he is working for BJP now.

Sources said that he has been instructed by State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa to work in N.R. Constituency and has been projected as the MLA candidate there.
