Court sentences Tanzanian nationals for overstaying in city

Mysuru:  The Fourth JMFC Court has sentenced three Tanzanian nationals for one month simple imprisonment besides imposing a fine of Rs. 8,000 each for overstaying in city, though their Visas had expired.

The Tanzanian nationals, who were sentenced have been identified as Atupele Friday Mwakyusa, Evance Damasi Mlay and Aidan Emilian Riwa. A team of Police personnel had launched a search for foreign nationals who were staying in city despite expiry of their Visas and had identified these three, who had come to city on education purpose. The Police, had submitted a charge-sheet against them to the Court.
