COVID-19 awareness campaign vehicles launched

Mysore/Mysuru: Joining the ongoing efforts to fight the deadly Novel Coronavirus, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), in association with the city’s Human Rights Organisation, launched COVID-19 awareness campaign vehicles yesterday.

Principal District and Sessions Court Judge Suresh K. Vontigodi flagged off the vehicles at the City Law Courts premises here.

Speaking on the occasion, Judge Vontigodi said that the Human Rights Organisation has engaged in carrying out COVID-19 awareness campaigns in all districts of the State through vehicles such as autorickshaws and cars and on Monday, this initiative has been launched in Mysuru district.

Calling upon the people to follow the Government’s instructions and  messages of the Organisation, he said that he was thanking the Organisation for its service on behalf of DLSA. He wished the Organisation all success in this noble endeavour.

A total of ten vehicles, including six autos and four cars, will travel across the district till Apr.14.

Senior Civil Judge Sunil A. Shettar, Mysuru Bar Association Secretary Shivanna, Human Rights Organisation office-bearers V. Nirmala, Sairaju and others were present.
