COVID-19 lockdown violations: Police seize 489 vehicles in two days

Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing their drive on lockdown guidelines violators, City Police have seized a total of 489 vehicles on May 28 and 29 in city to initiate legal action.

On May 28, City Police (Traffic and Civil) seized a total of 265 vehicles including 245 two-wheelers, 14 cars and six autorickshaws which were found violating the guidelines and moving around freely on city roads.

On May 29, 224 vehicles including 205 two-wheelers,  16 cars and three other vehicles were seized after the vehicle owners were found violating the Government guidelines and moving around in city during lockdown hours. 

City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta has urged the public to follow the lockdown guidelines and prevent themselves from being penalised.
