Mysore/Mysuru: Stepping up  measures for prevention of the spread of Coronavirus, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar has asked officials to keep a watch on the movements of home-quarantined persons.

In a directive issued on Friday, Abhiram G. Sankar said that officials from MCC, Revenue and other Departments should ensure that persons under home-quarantine do not come out of their homes. Also those under watch for symptoms of the deadly virus should be kept in quarantine camps set up at the District Headquarters.

All persons who show symptoms should be compulsorily quarantined for 15 days and it must be ensured that they do not come out of quarantine for any reason. The officials should come to the help of quarantined persons and their family members.
