COVID guidelines violations: 666 vehicles seized in three days

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Police, who are strictly enforcing the COVID guidelines in city to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, have seized a total of 666 vehicles in the past three days for violating the lockdown guidelines.

On June 10, a total of 213 vehicles including 153 two-wheelers, 46 cars and 14 auto-rickshaws were seized followed by 230 vehicles including 188 two-wheelers, 31 cars and 11 auto-rickshaws on June 11. On June 12, the Cops have seized a total of 223 vehicles including 181 two-wheelers, 28 cars and 14 auto-rickshaws. 

City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta has urged the public not to move around unnecessarily during lockdown hours and to co-operate with the Police to contain the spread of COVID.
