COVID lockdown violations: 790 vehicles seized in 4 days

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Police have seized a total of 790 vehicles in the past four days (June 3 to 6) for violating the lockdown guidelines.

On June 3, the Cops seized a total of 221 vehicles including 185 two-wheelers, 33 cars and three auto-rickshaws.  

While 169 vehicles including 153 two-wheelers, 12 cars and four auto-rickshaws were seized on June 4, 186 vehicles including 170 two-wheelers, 12 cars and four auto-rickshaws were seized on June 5. On June 6, Police have seized a total of 214 vehicles including 171 two-wheelers, 39 cars and four auto-rickshaws, according to a press release from the City Police Commissioner’s Office.
