Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde to inaugurate
Mysuru: Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde will inaugurate the two-day ‘New India Summit-2018,’ organised by Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI) on Dec.6 at 11 am at the newly-inaugurated Convocation Hall in KSOU premises here.
Sri Ravishankar Guruji of Art of Living will grace the occasion, said New India Summit Conference Committee Chairman Balakrishna Hegde.
He was addressing a press conference at a private hotel in the city here this morning and said the Summit will see the participation of over 1,000 developers from across the country and the theme for this year is ‘Emerging Cities, India’s Future’ which is being hosted by CREDAI, Mysuru.
“All the disruptive progressive measures such as RERA and GST are behind us and the indirect impact of demonetisation is also diminishing. As such there are exciting times ahead of us, as also challenges which are going to be the core discussion point at the upcoming Summit,” he said.
Talking about the changing landscape of the sector, he said, the Indian real estate sector is now undergoing a paradigm shift with revolutionary regulatory changes. In these interesting times, a renewed focus on the sector with visionary programmes like ‘Housing for all by 2022’ and 100 ‘smart cities’, has pushed the boundaries for many developers.
The Summit will have sessions on Trust Building, Decade Ahead, Technology and Skilling and Happiness Index.
Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda, Housing and Urban Development Minister U.T. Khader, Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh and Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath will be present during the inauguration.
CREDAI National Joint Secretary K. Sriram, CREDAI Karnataka Chairman Dr. V.K. Jagadish Babu, CREDAI Karnataka President Shankar Sastry, CREDAI Mysuru President Chinnaswamy and Organising Committee Chairman D. Hari were present at the press meet.
