Crestival celebrates talent

Mysuru: Crestival, the flagship event of Cresta School of Management, Science and Arts, held at its campus recently, celebrated talent from across the country. The event saw large participation of students from various institutions across the city along with students from Cresta.

The entire day was a thrilling experience for the 3,000 plus students who swayed to the performances of young celebrities Akasa Singh, Akshay Dhawan and Awez Darbar which were hosted by Vineeth Vincent. The entire show was very engaging and held the audience captive all through their performances.

The 18-year-old Akshay Dhawan, winner of ‘Dil Hai Hindustani-2,’ captured the audience’s attention with his impeccable rapping skills.  Awez Darbar, celebrity choreographer and dancer, who is the most popular TikTok Star and Youtuber, mesmerised the young students with his scintillating performance. Akasa of Thug Ranjha fame also enthralled the audience with her voice.

This second edition of CRESTIVAL included a programme curated with the idea to address the creative performances’ culture of Mysuru. Cresta cultural events which included singing, dancing, bands and workshops, were held throughout the day with students participating in huge numbers and showcasing their talents.

A dance workshop by Awez Darbar was also held during the day for students who were inclined towards creativity.
