Cricket gambling: 3 held, Rs. 30,500 cash, four mobile phones, TV set seized

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, who raided two houses have arrested three persons on charges of gambling and have seized a total of Rs. 30,500 stake money, four mobile phones and a TV set.

In the first case, the CCB Police, who raided a house behind the Government Higher Primary School on Rama Mandira Road in Yaraganahalli in Alanahalli Police limits on Mar. 24, arrested two persons indulged in cricket betting besides seizing Rs. 28,200 stake money, two mobile phones and a TV set.

A case has been registered at Alanahalli Police Station.

In the second case, CCB sleuths, who raided a house on St. Mary’s Road 7th Cross in N.R. Mohalla on Mar. 25, arrested a person, who was involved in cricket betting and seized Rs. 2,300 stake money and two mobile phones.  

A case has been registered at N.R. Police Station.
